Run With The Flow 2026 (Korat Cluster) "Empower you, Empower the flow"

Event date: October 11, 2026
Location: Lamtakhong Research Station, Nakhon Ratchasima province

Bangkok Hospital Group is continuing the success of the "Run With The Flow" event for the third consecutive year under the theme "Empower you, Empower the flow." This initiative aims to encourage the public to prioritize long-term brain and heart health, reinforcing the group's status as a medical leader—recognized with the "Specialized Hospital Asia Pacific 2024" award. This year, the event expands to a new location, hosted by the "Bangkok Hospital Korat Cluster" (comprising Bangkok Hospital Nakhon Ratchasima, Bangkok Hospital Khao Yai, and Bangkok Hospital Pak Chong).

Objective

  1. Preventive Healthcare Promotion To advocate for and encourage people of all groups to recognize the importance of proper exercise, thereby building health immunity and reducing the risk of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), particularly cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

  2. Corporate Identity & Strategic Engagement To reinforce the excellence of the BDMS hospital network as a role model for environmental sustainability (Green Hospital), while strengthening engagement between the hospitals and the community through creative activities that generate a positive social impact.

  3. Health & Wellness Tourism Development To support and elevate the potential of health and wellness tourism at both local and national levels by seamlessly integrating recreational activities with world-class medical service standards.

  4. Local Knowledge & Conservation Awareness To enrich participants' experiences through running routes that reflect the unique identity of the local area, while fostering engagement in learning about research, agriculture, and the conservation of vital natural resources within the project area.

Event Rules & Medical Safety Protocol

  1. Health & Fitness Readiness: Participants must be in good physical health to compete in their registered distance and must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions to the organizers. In the event of an injury along the route, runners must immediately report their condition to staff to receive prompt treatment, prevent further injury, and safely complete the race. (Mobile medical units will deploy immediately upon request).
  2. Littering Policy: Discarding equipment, trash, or plastic materials along the race route is strictly prohibited. Marshals and route staff will issue warnings for violations. Persistent non-compliance will result in the runner's bib number being reported to the central committee for immediate disqualification.
  3. No Route or Distance Changes: Runners are not permitted to change their race route or distance after checking in and receiving their race kits.
  4. Photo & Media Rights: The event organizers reserve the right to use photos taken during the event for post-event public relations and sponsor reports (printed/booklet format only). All promotional use is strictly non-commercial.
  5. Code of Conduct: All registered runners must strictly follow instructions from race officials and the organizing committee. Participants must maintain polite discourse; verbal abuse, defamation, or physical violence towards staff, referees, or fellow runners will not be tolerated. Violators will face warnings and disqualification. In cases of physical violence, the organizers reserve the right to pursue legal action if the actions damage the reputation of the organization, sponsors, or other parties involved.
  6. 100% Closed Course Safety: This event prioritizes maximum safety with a 100% closed route. Runners must strictly follow staff instructions. In case of injury, runners must immediately call the emergency contact number printed on their race bib.
  7. Emergency Evacuation & Transfer: In the event of a severe medical emergency, patients will be evacuated to the Bangkok Hospital Korat Cluster—including Bangkok Hospital Khao Yai, Bangkok Hospital Pakchong, or Bangkok Hospital Ratchasima—as medically appropriate. Group accident insurance coverage provided by the event will be utilized first.
