GPO Run for 60th Anniversary

💊GPO Run for 60th Anniversary💊 In celebration of the Government Pharmaceutical Organization's 60th anniversary, we invite all health-conscious runners, as well as serious runners, to participate in the GPO Run for 60th Anniversary 2026. The race will take place along the scenic route of Ratchadamnoen Nok Road and Rama VIII Bridge.

Half Marathon – 21 km

Overall: Male/Female

• 1st Place: 5,000 THB + Trophy (1 award)
• 2nd Place: 3,000 THB + Trophy (1 award)
• 3rd Place: 2,000 THB + Trophy (1 award)

Age Group: Male/Female

• 1st to 3rd Place: Trophy

Mini Marathon – 10 km

Overall: Male/Female

• 1st Place: 3,000 THB + Trophy (1 award)
• 2nd Place: 2,000 THB + Trophy (1 award)
• 3rd Place: 1,000 THB + Trophy (1 award)

Age group is calculated based on birth year (Event year minus athlete’s birth year)

Competition Rules

1. The GPO Run for the 60th Anniversary will be conducted in accordance with the road running competition rules of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

2. Runners must wear their race bib clearly on the front of their chest. If the bib number is not visible for any reason—such as wearing the wrong age group bib or any other issue that prevents identification of the runner’s category or age group—the organizer reserves the right to withhold prizes in all cases.

3. Failure to pass any checkpoint will result in a DQ (Disqualification), meaning the runner did not complete the full course and will not be eligible to receive a medal.

   • Gun Time is the official race time, starting when the starting signal is given for all runners.
   • Chip Time is the individual time, recorded from when a runner crosses the actual start line to the finish line.

   Cut-off Time is enforced based on Gun Time to ensure safety and traffic management along the race route. The cut-off times are as follows:

   21 km Cut-off time: 3:30 hours

   • Cut-off at km 6: 4:30 AM
   • Cut-off at km 12: 5:30 AM
   • Cut-off at km 18: 6:30 AM

   10 km Cut-off time: 2:00 hours

   • Cut-off at km 6: 6:30 AM

   5 km Cut-off time: 1:30 hours

   • Cut-off at finish line: 6:15 AM

4. The GPO Run for the 60th Anniversary will start according to the announced schedule. However, in case of safety concerns along the race route that cause a delay in the start, the cut-off time will be counted from the actual starting time.

5. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded based solely on Gun Time recorded by the timing chip system. Prizes will be given only to runners who have properly registered according to the rules, clearly display their race bib, and pass all checkpoints.
