Race calendar & search

Runners looking for a race find yours — without buying ads

Runners do not choose a race from a single poster. They choose from their own diary — which Saturday is free, which province they can travel to, and which distance they have trained for. If your race does not appear on the day they are looking at, it drops out of the running before it is ever compared with anything else.

Ads help in bursts, and you pay again every time you want to be seen. Stop paying and you disappear from the screen — even though the runners looking for a race that month are still there, and still reachable without buying media.

The other group that slips away is the runners who do not have a race in mind at all. They only know they want to run somewhere nearby next month, so they start at a calendar or a search box, not at the name of your event.

What this service does for you
1
Listed on the calendar under the date you actually race

Once your details are in the system, your race appears in the weekly calendar runners use to plan ahead. They pick a day from the month grid and see that day’s races immediately — banner, name, date and province, presented the same way as every other race in the country.

2
Found by filtering on province and distance

Most runners start from "next month, near home, 10K", which makes the province and race-type listings the most common way a new race gets discovered — by runners who have never heard your event’s name.

3
Found by the words runners actually type

Search handles the way Thai is really typed: inconsistent spacing, Thai numerals, and Buddhist and Gregorian years used interchangeably. Even a slightly wrong spelling of the event or province name still finds your race.

Frequently asked questions
Do we have to pay to appear, and can we buy a higher position?

No payment, and position is not for sale. The calendar is ordered by race date, not by who paid most — the moment it were ordered by money, runners would stop using it, and every organizer would lose the channel at once.

How much traffic is there really, and what will our race get?

The site draws over 100,000 visits a month across a base of 600,000+ registered runners, with the calendar and search among the most-opened pages. That is a site-wide total, not a guarantee for any one race — how many people see yours depends on the date, the province and the distances you offer.

Does being on the calendar mean RunLah endorses the event?

It is not an endorsement. Most events on the calendar do not use our services at all; they are listed so the calendar is complete for runners. Being on it says nothing about the quality of the event, and the organizer remains responsible for their own event information.

Do past events disappear from the system?

They stay and remain searchable — they are simply ranked below upcoming races. Last year’s event page still works as evidence when you are selling this year’s edition, and a new edition is added as its own year rather than overwriting the old one.
