The event’s photos sit where runners are already looking
The photographer sends the album over on the evening of the race, you post the link to your page straight away, and two days later that post is buried under the results announcement, the group photos and the sponsor thank-yous. Anyone who only now thinks about their photos has to scroll back and find it.
So the questions come to you one at a time — in comments, in your inbox, in LINE groups — the same question answered a hundred times over: where are the photos.
What makes it a shame is that these runners are already coming back to your event page to check results, download a certificate and see where they placed. And there, on the page open in their hand, nothing tells them where the photos are.
Another group never followed your page at all: they entered through a link a friend sent, ran, and went home — so they never saw the post in the first place.
In the end, a whole event’s photos are seen by fewer people than they should be, even though they are one of the things runners most want afterwards and one of the things that keeps people talking about the race for days.
You arrange your photographer as usual, and when the album is open for viewing you send us the link to add. Nobody has to edit a website, wait for an update cycle or configure anything.
The "Event photos" button sits in the same row as the results button, on the page runners already open after the race, and goes straight to the photographer’s site. No hunting for links and no scrolling back through your page.
The thank-you email sent to everyone who entered through RunLah carries a photos button next to the results link — so people who never followed your page and never came back to the event page still get the link in their hands.
Events with more than one photography team can list them all, each with its own button in a row, and runners choose which site to visit. We create the links for every one of them free of charge, with no requirement to use any particular provider.
Once the photos live on the page runners already open for results, most of those questions never reach your inbox — and the few that do are answered by pointing back to the same page.
A post on your page sinks over time; the event page stays where it is and remains findable on Google. Someone who wants photos at the end of the month, or while putting together a year-end album, can come back and find them without asking anyone.
Plenty of runners found the race through a link from a friend and never followed your page at all. The way to reach them is the results page and an email sent directly to them — which is exactly where these links sit.
You pick photographers on their work, price and terms, entirely as you like. RunLah does not offer a photography service and does not require any particular provider — send us whichever links you want, however many.
The people clicking through are the ones who just ran the race, not people scrolling past. Events negotiating a revenue share or a package with a photographer have something concrete to point at: exactly where the link will appear.
We do not offer a photography service. The photos live on the site of the photographer you chose and contracted. What we do is put that link where runners are already looking — the event page and the post-race email.
That depends on what the photographer’s own site offers, because the searching happens there rather than on RunLah. The button on the event page only gets people to that site.
As many as you like, and any of them. Each gets its own button in a row on the event page and in the email. RunLah does not offer photography, so there is no preferred provider and nothing tied to anyone.
Yes — tell us and we will change it, and the event page points to the new link immediately. Emails already sent will still lead to the link that was in the system when they went out.
Not yet — the button appears as soon as the link is in the system. So the usual practice is to send the link once the album is open for viewing, to avoid runners clicking through to an empty page.
None. Events taking entries with RunLah get the button on the event page and in the post-race email, however many photographers are listed. Photography fees and print prices are strictly between you and the photographer.
