Put your race in front of runners who are already looking for one
Most races start and end their promotion on their own Facebook page: post the poster, hope people share it. But the people who see that post already follow you — mostly runners who have run your race before, not the ones you still need to reach.
Runners hunting for their next race rarely browse page by page. They open a race calendar and filter by a free weekend, a province they can drive to, and the distance they have been training for. If your race is not on that list, they have almost no way of knowing it exists.
And when someone does get curious, what they usually find is a single poster with type too small to read and a comment thread answering the same questions over and over — at exactly the moment they were most ready to sign up.
Name, date, venue, distances, entry fees and your registration link — send them over or enter them yourself. We publish a bilingual event page at no charge, and there is no requirement to use RunLah for registration.
It goes into the calendar, the search results and the province and distance listings — together over 100,000 visits a month, on a site with 600,000+ registered runners and a page followed by another 186,000. These are people who came looking for a race, not people who happened to scroll past an ad.
The same link works on your page, in LINE groups and in comments, and unfurls into a preview card with your banner and event name. Anyone who opens it sees the distances, prices and schedule in full, so the same questions stop coming back in the comments.
Genuinely free. There is no listing fee and it is not bundled with anything else you have to buy. Most events on our calendar do not use any RunLah service at all — we list them because a complete calendar is the reason runners keep coming back, and that benefits every organizer on it, including you.
No. The entry button can point anywhere you already use — your own site, a Google Form, your Facebook page or another provider. If you later decide to move registration to us, you can switch at any time and the original link keeps working.
The 600,000+ figure is the number of runner accounts that have entered an event through our system over the past decade, and 100,000+ monthly visits is site-wide traffic. Both are platform totals, not a guarantee for any single race — how many people see yours depends on the date, the province and the distances you offer.
Send it to the team any time and we will update it the same day. If you have an organizer account, you can edit the page yourself immediately without waiting for us.
No need to wait. You can list before entries open — a name and a date is enough to start, and distances and prices can follow later. The earlier it goes up, the more likely it is to be seen by runners planning their race calendar months in advance.
