Samer Dao Mountain Trail #3 "วิ่งนับดาว คืนฟื้นฟูป่า" Join us on a scenic trail run through nature that invites you to explore with your own two feet, step into the embrace of the forest, and revive your spirit through the practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). Experience peace and freshness as you're surrounded by misty paths and warmed by the golden morning light — on a trail filled with fun, challenge and natural wonder.

Organized by the National Parks Association in collaboration with Sri Nan National Park

*100 Baht from each registration fee will be donated to the National Parks Association to support conservation efforts and the Community Forest Restoration project.

Objective

  1. To promote and enhance the tourism attractions in Sri Nan National Park and Nanoi District.
  2. To stimulate the economy and generate income from sports tourism in Southern Nan.
  3. To raise funds for the National Parks Association to carry out the Forest Restoration Project.
  4. To foster community involvement in the conservation of natural resources and the environment at the community, district, provincial and national levels.
  5. To promote health through regular exercise.

Guidelines

  1. Runners must follow the trail marked with ribbons or official signage only. Do not leave the designated route under any circumstances.

  2. Runners must strictly follow the instructions of race officials at all times.

  3. This event follows a Zero Waste policy. Runners must bring their own water containers and are strictly prohibited from littering along the trail, except at designated aid stations.

  4. Creating any situation that could cause harm or danger to fellow runners is strictly prohibited.

  5. All runners are strictly forbidden from damaging or collecting any plants, fruits, or vegetation along the race route.

Note Mandatory gear is required for the safety of all participants and must be carried at all times during the event. The organizing team is responsible for ensuring participant safety. If any mandatory item is missing, the organizers reserve the right to conduct random checks and disqualify the participant immediately, without exception or further negotiation.

Race Rules and Regulations

  • Participants must register for the race online as officially announced.
  • Running under someone else's name is strictly prohibited. The name on the registration must match the participant’s actual identity.
  • Registrations are non-transferable and name changes are not allowed.
  • All registrations are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Participants must check in and verify their identity in person.
  • Runners must wear their own official bib number. If found using another person’s bib, the runner will be immediately disqualified.
  • Runners must stay on the official race route. Shortcuts are not allowed. If lost, backtrack to the last visible trail marker.
  • All checkpoints must be passed through.
  • Bib numbers must be worn on the front and clearly visible at all times.
  • If a participant wishes to withdraw from the race, they must notify the nearest checkpoint official.
  • Trash must be disposed of in designated bins. Littering along the trail is strictly prohibited.
  • In case of medical emergency, contact the emergency number provided.
  • The decisions of the race officials are final.

Regulations

  • Long-distance participants (40 KM and 20 KM or more) must wear a hydration pack with all mandatory gear. If a runner is found without a hydration pack, they will be asked to stop running until one is obtained.

  • Any form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification.

  • The use of performance-enhancing drugs is strictly prohibited. Anyone found using such substances will be immediately disqualified.

  • All participants must acknowledge and fully understand these rules and regulations.

  • For runner safety, if a participant decides to withdraw from the race while on the course, they must call the race organizer’s emergency contact number to report their withdrawal location and provide personal details.

  • Runners must use the race bib registered in their own name, along with accurate personal information in the official registration system. This ensures their race eligibility and accident insurance coverage.
    In cases of bib transfer, the seller or transferor must notify the organizer in writing with updated and correct information at least 7 working days before the event.
    If a runner fails to notify the organizer of such a change and allows someone else to use their bib without proper registration, the organizer reserves the right to deny race participation and accident insurance coverage due to invalid personal data.

  • Participants confirm that they are in good health, free from medical conditions that could pose risks during extended physical exertion, and are physically prepared for the event. They have read, reviewed, and agreed to comply with all rules and regulations stated above.
