The Route 97

Registration will take place at Suan Sai Yok Resort, Kanchanaburi (Finish Line). The race will commence from Lin Thin Thong, Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi.
The Route 97

The ROUTE 97 is the largest international water sports tourism event in Thailand, now in its third consecutive year, featuring the longest paddling distance in Asia (106km).

The aim of the ROUTE 97 is to establish Thailand as the number one water tourism destination in Asia, especially for Stand Up Paddle (SUP) sports, as most major manufacturers and leading brands are based in Thailand. All types of non-motorized watercraft are welcome to participate, including Kay-aks, Canoes, Surfskis, and other watercraft, as ROUTE 97 focuses on supporting low carbon activities for the sustainability of nature.

13:00 - 19:00 Registration includes receiving a bib and visiting booths at the event.
13:00 - 15:30 For paddlers who require assistance transporting their watercraft to the starting point, please come to the event area by 2:00 PM. This will ensure timely transportation of your boards to the starting point. Additional charges apply.
15:30 Basic life-saving techniques
18:00 Facebook Live for Q&A session about the paddling route and points of caution (hazards). A route-briefing-video will be posted on facebook

  3. GPS (We prepare for you incase you don’t have a cell phone with you)

  4. Water Bottle/Containers: Stay hydrated and energized throughout the race.

  5. Paddle: Your trusty companion for propelling through the waters.

  6. Leash: To keep you stay close to your board when you fall in the water.

  7. Waterproof Bag: Keep your belongings dry and secure during the race.

  8. Power Supply (powerbank)

Highly Recommended:

  1. Sunscreen: Shield yourself from the sun's rays to avoid sunburn.

  2. Snacks: Fuel up with nutritious snacks to keep your energy levels high.

  3. Whistle: An essential signaling device for communication. (Optional).
