วัตถุประสงค์
- เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวันคล้ายวันสถาปนาการท่าเรือแห่งประเทศไทย ครบรอบ 68 ปี ในวันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2562
- เพื่อส่งเสริมให้พนักงาน กทท.และประชาชนทั่วไปให้ความสำคัญกับการออกกำลังกายด้วยการเดิน-วิ่ง เพื่อสุขภาพ ตลอดจนปลูกฝังพฤติกรรมความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมและส่งเสริมแผนงานด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม (CSR) ของ กทท.
- เพื่อให้หน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ กทท. มีส่วนร่วมในโครงการฯ ของ กทท. ทั้งยังร่วมให้การช่วยเหลือด้านสาธารณกุศล ช่วยกัน สร้างความสามัคคี สร้างมิตรภาพร่วมกัน
- เพื่อนำรายได้หลังหักค่าใช้จ่าย มอบให้กับโรงพยาบาลในชนบท เพื่อสนับสนุนในการจัดซื้อเครื่องมือทางการแพทย์
