เพื่อเป็นการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างทหารกับประชาชนตามนโยบายของรัฐบาลในการเสริมสร้างสุขภาพด้วยการออกกำลังกาย ทั้งนี้ รายได้จากการจัดสรรส่วนหนึ่งเพื่อเป็นทุนการศึกษาช่วยเหลือนักเรียนผู้ขาดแคลนทุนทรัพย์ในถิ่นทุรกันดาร
